The wipers can lessen the life of the vinyl (3 to 5 years), over time. This is due to the fact that the edge of the vinyl is where the glue starts to fail first. This is caused by expanding and contracting from heat and cold. So if the edge of the vinyl starts to fail and the wiper hits the edge, it will start to chip it, over time. If applied properly, it should not be an issue.
Not at all. To remove a sign, all that is needed is just a razor blade and some glass cleaner. First you remove the vinyl from the window using the razor blade. Once the vinyl is removed, soak the window with glass cleaner. While the cleaner is still on the glass, run the razor blade back over the glass to remove any of the glue that was left behind. Takes about 5 minutes.
